Don’t miss the All Star event of the year – the Ultimate Iron Vintner. Over the past four years, the Iron Vintner Challenge has hosted competitions that include the top winemakers in the area. The 2014 version will put to test the cooking skills of the winners from the past four years and crown the Ultimate Iron Vintner.

Chef Bobby Moore from Barking Frog will emcee the event over a course of three weeks in June, and similar to Iron Chef, will reveal the secret protein ingredient at the start of each competition. Participants will have one hour to make an appetizer and entrée to impress the panel of judges.

Advance ticket purchase is required and will be $75 for Rounds 1, 2 and the Championship event. Ticket prices include entry to the competition, souvenir wine glass, reduced prices for food & wine, and a tasting sample from each winery represented in the challenge.

Tickets for the After Party on June 25 are $75 plus service charge and tax. This includes a glass of sparkling wine at arrival to the event; appetizers, prepared by Chef Bobby Moore, paired with wines in the competition, and passed appetizers from the “Road Toad” – Barking Frog Mobile Kitchen. The after party festivities includes a silent and live auction where you can bid on some
one-of-kind wine and winery experiences.
